Jenvey ITB's for the whole LS range
If you've got an LS series V8 then we've got a hard core throttle body setup for it. Jenvey's huge range of throttle body kits now encompasses all of GM's LS series V8's including the mighty LS7.
Why ITB?
Put simply, ITB's provide the most airflow, the best air distribution. the best throttle response and, most importantly, have the greatest reponse to harmonic tuning (see tech article). Whilst they have gained fame for the top end HP gains they show over conventional manifold arrangements, the real beauty of ITB's is being able to tune them to the torque peak your cam and heads will produce. When you get this right, the biggest gains you'll see are actually in the mid range.
ITB's throttle response is equally legendary, with vast amounts of airflow available immediately with no plenum to fill on the way through. Jenvey's range of ITB intakes also has the added benefit of being quite customisable in throttle body diameter and length with a range of alternative sizes available.
The Range
CKCT01 - GM LS1, LS2 and LS6 Individual Throttle Body Kit
The first ITB kit Jenvey developed was the CKCT01 for the LS1/2/6 range of alloy V8's. Used extensively in the Holden Commodore range as well as the Corvette and Camaro in the US. With even only minor additional mods, this kit can create a torque monster with brutal throttle response and has found a successful home in Improved Production and Sports Sedans in Australia.
Initial dyno testing showed big gains even after only rudimentary tuning with a very basic standalone ECU.
Over 50 ft/lb of torque was gained at 4500rpm. The dip around 4000rpm suggests a mis match between intake length and camshaft timing and this was veriified in subsequent engines. The top end power tells a similar story.
Again the dip up higher could have been rectified with some cam timing. Also don't forget this was a standard camshaft on an essentially stock engine. The power gains on a modified engine have shown to be much greater again.
The kit comes with lower mount injectors and a fuel rail with -6AN fittings. Alternate throttle bodies can be ordered with han injector position which relocates them to the throttle body for greater effect at high rpm. We also have remote mount kits for mounting them above the air horn mouth in the air box.

CKCT06 - GM LS7 Individual Throttle Body Kit
Originally produced for modified Mosler and Corvette GT3 race cars, the CKCT02 has been upgraded to include 60mm tapered throttle bodies after the ones supplied with original kit were found to be a little underdone. The larger tapered throttle bodies provide better airflow without sacrificing low end/mid range air speed and torque. The throttle linkage has also been improved with adjustable droplinks attaching to a cross bar at the front of the manifold replacing the original operating wheel with cable linkage which was prone to losing sync.
As with the CKCT01, this kit can be ordered with upper injector positions and carbon fibre trupmets.

CKCT03 - GM LS3 Individual Throttle Body Kit
This latest kit has been developed for the 6.2L LS3 as found in later model Commodores, Corvettes and Camaros. Similar to the LS7 kit, it uses SFD58 throttle bodies instead of SFD60. Otherwise it also benefits from the improved throttle linkage (not shown in the picture on the left) and tapered throttle bodies.
The dyno tests below are similar to the ones above with a minimum of tuning on a fairly stock engine. The baseline engine actually had a 90mm Jenvey throttle body so you can see how much stronger the ITB's are even over a big TB. Also, note the run done without the air boxes. This is when the Caron LS Airbox Kit was being developed and the ultimate power loss is minimal.

Air Box Kit
This has been developed to provide a low line solution for fitting under most bonnets while providing ample airflow. These airboxes are made in high quality carbon fibre for light weight and high strength. The also exit to the front which makes ducting to air filters in a cold air position much simpler. They also disassemble easily for servicing and access. When using the high mount injector position, you will need to use shorter injectors such as the Magneti Marelli IWP series.

Fuel Pressure Regulator
We also have Jenvey fuel pressure regulator housings which will take any of the Magneti Marelli or Bosch type fuel pressure regulators. We stock a range of FPR's from 3 to 5 bar as well as a 0-5bar adjustable model. The housing comes with -6 AN fittings for easy plumbing.

Throttle Position
In any ITB setup, the throttle position sensor is very important to get right as it is the main determinant for engine load. For this reason, we stock and recommend the Magneti Marelli PF2C or the Variohm SP range of throttle position sensors as they are the two most reliable solutions we've found. The Marelli PF2C is similar to the unit found on many superbikes and is small and reliable. The Variohm SP range is a full motorsport specification with high reliablity and easy adjustment. It also comes sealed with a Hellerman Tyton boot and heatshrink and MS22759/32 spec cable. Both sensors require an adaptor block electrical connector although the SP range comes as a flying lead so both ends can be supplied according to your needs.

Drive By Wire (DBW)
This is becoming popular for motorsport applications with advent of DBW control in aftermarket ECU's. The ability to provide mappable throttle curves and control engine braking as well as throttle blipping on downshifts for sequential gearboxes is just some of the benfits. This system has been somewhat maligned by some fo the terrible response shown by DBW road cars but this is not the case with a proper motorsport ECU and the Jenvey DBW motor listed below. This also requires two throttle position sensors (one for throttle shaft measurement and one for motor shaft).
